Pain

Post by Ace »

Toothache is at the top of the list, but today I read a footballer has to have treatment for an ingrown toenail!!
I have has 2 seperate appointments for minor surgery for these, the pain is like giving birth to Hell. What they took out resembled a guitar plectrum, now that beats toothache as far as I'M concerned.
Anyone else had an ingrown toenail will know where Im coming from.
I know Kidney stones are nasty cunts as well, as well as piles, which I did have once. Painfull, but Division 2 compared to the Premier league of pain

The West London of my youth is now on dvd

Unfortuntaely I have had both an ingrowing toenail and toothache in the last 6 months.

I suppose it depends on the severity of either but the toothache was worse for me. Going to a dentist I find terrifying but the 15 mins there was worth the anguish to get rid of that tooth.

The bit of nail that I had removed and that was embedded in the flesh looked like it wouldn't have been out of place on a sabre tooth tiger.

The worst I can remember Ace, was being on an all nighter, pissed/stoned outta my face, then about 5am deciding to go on walkabout, to find my mate carbooting it, I was so out of it a passing by mate asked me for a ciggy, and I had one, behind my ear, still lit! on eventually finding the rugby field where my mate was, I fell down a ditch, fractured my ankle, got up, then down another ditch, and lay there in agony, for hours before I managed to crawl to the bootsale, and find my mate, and get him to call an ambulance, the nurse at the hospital couldnt even give me anything for the pain, as I was pissed/high as fuck, and she wasnt happy on treating me either as I was just a "pissed up" little twat (19yrs old then) suffice to say I don't drink or smoke ANYTHING anymore, and have an interesting tramline scar on the side of my head, as for the time a nurse at my boarding school burst a zit on my forehead with her fucking nails, got the cunt infected, turning it into a cyst, having to have it surgically removed, and then opened and repacked every day for weekes I wont go into that!

I've avoided pain all my life funnily enough

No broken bones or emergency operations

If I had to pick I'd say

all week hangover(to numerous to mention)

food poisoning

Both had the wonderful accompanyment of dry reaching for days on end

or when i was chased by a female hippopottamus for 3 years...very painful..was considering plastic surgery for a new identitiy or hiring a double just before she cottoned onto another unfortunate

Having been a State Registered Podiatrist [Chiropodist], I have done numerous partial and complete nail removals for the treatment of ingrowing toenails. In practice and whilst training, I and coleagues/students, have not had patients suffer pain during the procedure.

Have had patients play football too soon after and before healing complete, and those who did not carry out post op care as they were detailed, and these have had painful results due to their stupidity.

Any State Registered chiropodist/podiatrist should be ble to treat this painful condition, useing surgery under local anesthesia

I referred to the pain PRIOR to the removal of the offending bastard. The removal process is pain free, apart from the injections to numb the toe
