And now for his 'services' he is honoured with a peerage.

I recall he partly blamed Viz comic because they ran an anti-Kinnock Campaign, the thrust being he was Ginger and Welsh!

You might be largely right but I'd lay a lot of the blame on the Party Machine

Once it gets its teeth into a pre-selected Candidate they might as well replace themselves with a Puppet

Given that he was the only Politician to Resign 2 days before becoming entitled to a Million Dollar Superannuation payment I think its safe to say he was an Honest Politican

His Bio make sintersting reading given he beat some Blue Bloods twice to get elected in the blue blood seat of North Sydney
