I see the scum of the earth are out in force on ebay selling U2 tickets at up to 12 times their face value.
Ebay should be ashamed of themselves by allowing this.
A few years ago, I saw some handy lads give a tout a slap outside Stamford Bridge for selling tickets at 3 times their face value, and 'suggested' he sell them at their original face value, which he promptly did.

There should be a law against ticket touts, Its just not right and its just not fair for the people who want to see the band/artist perform only to find they can't afford the silly prices. Its bad enough the tickets are sometimes over priced by the venues or the promotion agent...and for the ticket touts to rub it in is an insult.

what every one forgets about ebay is an item is only worth as much as somone will bid for it.also when I goto a gig I always buy a few more tickets and then sell them later.get your money back that way !!

You seem to forget that ebay will get a % of the final sale. They are quick to ban sales of legitimate items, but concert/event tickets should be banned, that way wanker touts (which probably includes you, if your post on making some money selling on tickets is anything to go by) won't make money on real fans wishing to attend prestige events/concerts

I tried all day to get U2 tickets.Last year the same for Glastonbury.For U2 I will pay the extra ?50 or so per ticket cos I want to see the biggest kick ass rock'n roll band in the world..bottom line I can afford it and I am not rich..

Same happened at Floyd , Earls Court 94, touts all over the show, many offering front row at silly money, go on haggle they'd say, go fuck yourself san diego, not even for a Lucy Pinder anal fisten dvd, so there! One of the most moving times of my life, watching David Gilmour playing Comfortably Numb, whilst the mirror ball opened up showering us with what loked like snow, they are pirates them there touts
