Pity this likable manager has left football. I admire him for taking 4 points off us this season.
You can say what you like about him quitting Newcastle, England and now Man City, but at least he showed that stress and pressure can get to anyone.
I always enjoyed watching Kev's sides play, defensive nightmare, but you'd always get attacking football, none of this negative shite.
He is a genuine bloke and lives in the old days when football was a sport, honesty prevailed and your handshake was your bond...........LONG before it became a corrupt, money making business and agents would fuck you over as soon as look at you.
All the best Kev, you certainly deserve your retirement

I've met the man on the street............and he's a cunt

Re: Kevin Keegan
Typical City - up & down, up & down.
Re: Kevin Keegan
Pity, he,ll be remembered as a great player, but not a good manager...

Re: Kevin Keegan
He was a breathe of fresh air in an all too predictable league
and I dispute that he wasn't a Good Manager but agree he'll be remembered as a Great Player
He came within a whisker of winning the premier league with Newcastle and his record of taking lower division teams up the ladder is quite impressive IMHO
Manchester City along with Tottenham really are the poison chalice in the premiership.Year after year they spend big and end up with nothing more than mid table mediocrity
To me that says more about todays overpaid prima donna Players than the Managers
cheers
