I have always thought that in his own mind, he thinks whatever he does is fine. He is surrounded by 'Yes' men who let him do whatever he wants, and at one time, seemed bigger than justice, allowing him to carry on doing what he felt was okay and not wrong.
I don't think the 'victims' can be described as such, they are all willing to take the money, enjoy the adulation and bask in the glory of having an all-inclusive luxury time whenever with Jacko.
I think his lawyers will make the most of this and have them discredited, but the damage is done, Jacko won't recover from this. I remember the Jordy case, and as a result, sales for albums and concerts dropped.
He isn't the commodity he once was, but all said and done, the cunt CAN dance!!

There appears to be a financial crisis at Neverland too; why else would the weirdo rush from a hospital bed to court to avoid losing a measly $3m?
If things are that bad, Steve's prediction may be spot on.

Re: Mick Jackson
We spoke about this at lunchtime at work the other day and we all agreed that we think he has been guilty of some VERY inappropriate behaviour which goes hand in hand with his obvious psychological problems..anyone can see those. Do I think he fucks kids? I dont know.....i REALLY hope not....and i dont think he does. But if all those things about alcohol and walking around naked are true they could all be "justified" as being something normal from the mindset of a teenager hanging out with a teenager albeit GROSSLY inappropriate.
I really hope he hasnt been doing those things though....it would taint oneof the most impressive back catalogues out there

Re: Mick Jackson
...but how much would it taint those superb tunes? I think they are too popular and influencial to be written out of history a la Gary Glitter (which, as a pantomime act based on a 3-year run of hit singles and novelty outfits. is on a tiny scale compared to MJ). It would certainly be interesting (and somewhat sad) to see the media trying to forget and play down the likes of "Billie Jean, "Thriller" and "Don't Stop 'Til You Get Enough" - it would take "1984"-style levels of brain-washing to write tracks like those off.
Whatever the outcome, his credibilty is in tatters and as a contempory artist he has reached the point of no-return - he has been freaky for 20 years now, steadily more so - as time went on his freakish image overtook his excellence as a performer and now has, as we see, reached circus proportions with this fiasco. It must have been quite some time now since he was last given (or heeded) good advice, longer even than since he made a truly great album (even amongst the paranoid ramblings that made up the "new" tracks on HIStory (ten years old now) there were flashes of brilliance), he has almost reached the destiny he craved for in mirroring and befriending all those damaged-goods Hollywood stars he "hangs with".
It's obvious to everyone (apart from maybe the jurors) that the whole case is based around the issue of money, but you've got to question the guy's judgement - what billionaire musical genius who want to take on board a family of inbred trailer trash?
Or perhaps it's all just karma brought on by him double-crossing Mr McCartney all those years ago???

Retrodon: You maybe onto something there. Which makes it seem all the more sad when you think of his flashes of brilliance then offset that against what he is being accused of.
I think he should pick the company he chooses to be in a lot more carefully. Its a bit dodgy hanging out with youngsters that age anyway. It's not like the guy is a qualified social worker for the NSPCC is it.
I don't think he will moonwalk out of this one this time....

Re: Mick Jackson
Breathed a sigh of releif to find out Michael may indeed be normal upon the discovery of his porn stash which consisted of barely Legal and other (sic) prurient tiles of that ilk. Though I suspect, where theres smoke, there is fire about the young boys thing. But goes to show he is quite normal then and has a healthy interest in pretty girls too. I dread to think what they could have found if he was really guilty.
