It tends to be the most annoying songs that sneak into your psyche, until you suddenly become aware you're humming the Mr Blobby record.

Amarillo must be the most limpet-like song at the moment.

Oh, and for Genesis, check out Mr Hackett's guitar at the end of Fountain Of Salmacis. Sublime.

My worst moment was being in a crowded room when the telly was on, at about 6 pm on BBC2, and almost choking to death as the music to Sit On My Face started up during a 1930s British film. How was I to know the Pythons stole the tune to Gracie Fields' Sing As We Go?

Whilst I've not heard it yet, it sounds like a match made in heaven...the song will compliment both Ozzy's vocal style and Type O Negative's throbbing 'gothadelic' sound.

One to keep an ear out for, methinks!

Ozzy Collaborations

The collaborations disc in the Ozzy box set is fascinating, how about Ozzy doing "Staying Alive" with Dweezil Zappa and a host of guitar hotshots...it rocks like fuck..."All aboard the disco train!" Awesome!

He's also done tracks with the likes of Wu-Tang Clan and DMX and these work very well too. With all the fuss about "The Osbournes" it's easy to forget that Ozzy is foremost a rock'n'roller.
