Bruce Willis Films

Post by Ace »

Have to admit, he has done a few stinkers like Hudson Hawk, but I have just seen Hostage this week and Tears of the Sun on TV last night, and I think on the whole, his films are better than most of the superstars out there, including whatever Stallone did and especially what Ton Cruise always did.
Tears of the Sun was predictable, but very good and certainly had me watching quite captivated, but Hostage is excellent.
I know he has Die Hard 4 in the pipeline, but again, you KNOW it will be non-stop action all the way like his other Die Hard films

The West London of my youth is now on dvd

I like it for what its worth

Always playing the unassuming hero who laughs his way through hell & back

In many ways he more of a Comedian than an Action Hero which gives him the edge over all those HARD MEN like arnie & sly

See what happens when they attempt humor...kingergarten cop & twins for arnie & that diabolical Tango & Cash opposite Kurt Russell for Sly

Tom Cruise still comes across as the kind of guy your mother would like you too marry(if you were a girl)...4th of July is about his only credible effort so I've been told

cheers

Willis? Arnie? Sly? Scraping round a bit these days, aren't they?

The Cruiser certainly tamed them cunts, methinks.

Bruce Willis best movie I have seen to date has to be Pulp Fiction. I enjoyed 'Die Hard with A Vengence' he teamed up with Samual L. Jackson in that one as well as Pulp Fiction.

Tom Cruise, I never watch any of his movies, overrated as an actor. Shame that Speilberg picked him for the lead in 'War of the Worlds'

As for Arnie, I thought his last effort in T3 was pretty good, and Sly is now doing that boxing show on tv.

The worst action hero has to be Vin Diesel, A man who just can not act!! and he belongs to the Steven Segal school of cardboard acting!! LOL!!!

Even If Jackie Chan's english is slighty broken not, his acting and speaking abilitys is far greater than those last 2 guys. He is both a Action hero and a good comedian.

d'you know what? i actually kinda liked hudson hawk. no, really! might have been 'cos danny aiello was in it, and the only scene ever of sandra bernhard looking sexy, and richard e grant being mental, and the twins looking like matrix cast offs 10 years early.
anyway, long live bruce, in the movies at least. his personal life is starting to get creepy
tom cruise? wooden as a stick

don't forget twelve monkeys as well even if it is a odd film, and he was good in sixth sense and brilliant in pulp fiction.

i think the worst one bruce willis ever did was a sort of kids film called "north"which got badly panned by film critics.
like ace said he done a couple of dodgy ones but none as bad as that one i just mentioned.
