I'm not really convinced he was guilty in the first place. Once the bandwagon gets going the British Police still like to frame people - after all it justifys their existence.

The Eye carried a story back in the days when he was The Sun's pop columnist about the then editor Kelvin Mackenzie being told King had been arrested after kerb-crawling for prostitutes.

I don't like the man - too smug and self-oppinionated - but I'm not convinced he was guilty.
The case had more holes in it than the surface deck of the Humber Bridge and very little in the way of proof.

I don't think he did admit having sex with those boys. I think he made a quote of "I'm innocent of the charges against me. There is no issue of the acts being consensual, there were no acts. However much people try, you can't bend the truth.

Or something like that.

Mind you he did make the crazy quote yesterday that prison was "fantastic". It aint for convicted perverts like him and I have no doubt that he would have got "sorted out" in there more than once.

His last quote may have been sarcastic I think though.
