Im 29 and my insurance is about ?1200 a year for 30k miles including business use with 4 years protected NCB. I havent had the car that long so I dunno about the ladies drooling but I would bloody hope so at that sort of money - MPG is about 23 on average but if you thrash it you can easily get it down to low teens!

You dont need to have NoChex - if you have a UK credit or debit card you can pay using their system just the same as on any website that takes cards!
My site layout was designed mainly by me but the top banner and logo I got done by a designer - cant remember the cost for that bit but to be honest the big cost in the site has been the development work behind the scenes to add the functionality you see most of which was not standard.

Snap. I have the same model I find it a very versatile motor - I paid an extra couple of grand for a separate hard top, which I deploy in the winter months, that turns it into a snug, slightly more rigid, coupe. It looks even better than the normal coupe and gets it's fair share of attention. I also have the SMG paddle gearbox. Took me a couple of months to get used to it, but now I find it great fun flicking up and down the box with just a twitch of my finger. It seems to me like the closets thing to driving one of those addictive videogame thingies, but you?re doing it for real!
Do you use the 'spot' button much? I tend to leave that for the open road (though that may be a contradiction in terms, nowadays) as it makes the throttle response simply to 'immediate' and jerky for pottering round town in stop start traffic. But I do love the way the exhaust note changes when it's engaged, the engine becomes more vociferous and even more reminisant of a racing engine, with that spine-tingling buzz saw wail. In fact the cars comparatively light weight, the sequential gearbox and instant power delivery, always put me in mind of riding a high-powered sports bike. It's great fun, the only other car that I have had which comes close in those terms is a 911.
Did you know that the M3 engine is not just a warmed up version of a regular saloon car engine, but is in fact an adaptation of the McLaren F1 engine - in effect half a McLaren engine (which was a BMW V12)?
Officer Dibble ? he loves his motors to

Re: anyone have a civic type r?
I did have a civic r but I must confess it weren?t the motor for me and they do suffer from attracting BOY RACERS! I now have an Audi S6 Bi Turbo saloon which I run an AGM stage 4 mod chipp in. Now I aint a boy racer and I know the Audi does have a mature image but it does leave a lot of Evo & WRC boys gawping silly at the lights with their girls hiding under the dash in shame. I know in the money league it's a different animal and it also has the economy of Apollo 11 but in the end if you pay peanuts you get things that eat em.
On the whole I'd say the Civic R is pretty good and lets be honest the japs do build bloody good machine?s but if you are a single bloke why not spend the extra dosh and get something that makes a better statement than,
oh look I like BUUUURBEEEEEERY?

I have SMG with the hard top as well - also went for Tv/Sat Nav, HK stereo and 19" alloys. The hard top was definately worth every penny and my sentiments are exactly the same as yours when it comes to sport mode - the SMG is quite jerky and aggresive at the best of times so using the sport button on anything other than an open road just makes it unpleasant to drive

ooohh chubbs...you got me guessing now, is it some raunchy Italian Stallion?
I have to confess to not knowing enough about you like some of the other dudes here, so I genuinly don't know what Rod you drive...pleeeeezeee tell me...pretty please
I have an original M3, an '87 ex AC Schnitzer race car, fully road prepped but utterly impractical for daily driving sadly, which is a shame cos thats exactly why I bought it, 330hp from a 4 banger means Milk Float power below 4000 rpm, its a garage Queen now, but maybe this summer if I can face having flyshit on the painwork I will grace London with its presence....
