The usual pathetic response to big clubs (report courtesy of BBC):
Inter Milan have been fined ?132,000 by Uefa and must play their next four European games behind closed doors after crowd trouble against AC Milan.
Inter fans threw missiles on to the San Siro pitch, and caused Tuesday's quarter-final second leg tie to be stopped with AC Milan leading 1-0.
AC have been awarded a 5-0 aggregate win and go through to the semi-finals where they will meet PSV Eindhoven.
The ban is for six games, but two are under a three-year probationary period.
Inter can appeal against the decision and they have three days to do so.
It'd be interesting to know what, if anything, the club intends to do about beefing up its stewarding, security checks and so on. My guess would be Sweet Football Association. After all, you wouldn't want to drive away the thugs.
Ooh, tough action!

Re: Ooh, tough action!
Its a shitty sentence. You can bet yer bottom dollar if that was a Liverpool act at Juventus, they'd be looking at another exile from Europe.
Thats NOT to suggest that Scouse fans WOULD do that this week, I thought that under the circumstances and intimidation, the Liverpool fans acted in a thoroghly decent manner, and conducted themselves with dignity.

Re: Ooh, tough action!
As I said in a post the other night I was sure they wouldn't get an outright ban from all Uefa competitions because Uefa dance to the tune of the big clubs.
A smaller club yes a bigger club no.
Ace if that had been any english club then there would have been more recriminations as hooliganism is still believed in Europe as an english only disease.
Our continental cousins deny it exists when everybody knows it's there and a big problem.

I think the normally placid Dutch have amongst the worse hooligans, closely followed by the Maniac Turks

Germany, Italy, Spain, Greece, Turkey, Portugal, Holland . . . . the list goes on. It is seen as a British disease, and the problem still exists here---but the countries named above need to get their own houses in order.
And UEFA also needs to deal with the racism among fans in some of those nations, and particularly in eastern Europe.
