We have had a few debates about immigration on this forum,
and some people say that if you are against immigration you
are racist.
But when you read the text below, taken today from the BBC web
site, you realise the sinister side of immigration and that the whole
issue should not be taken lightly.
****************
Hundreds of African boys have disappeared from London schools,
police investigating the murder of a boy whose torso was left in
the Thames have said.
Scotland Yard asked London education authorities how many black
boys aged four to seven had vanished from school.
Between July and September 2001, 300 had disappeared, and
police fear thousands may go missing annually.
Child welfare experts say the figures hint at the scale of child
trafficking, sometimes for labour or benefit fraud.
A previous BBC investigation found some African children were
being held by their parents' creditors, so they could claim extra
benefits.
The boy found in the River Thames in September 2001 - called
Adam by police - is thought to have been the victim of a ritual
killing after being brought to London from Nigeria.
Detective Chief Inspector Will O'Reilly said inquiries revealed 300
black boys of a similar age to Adam had not reported back to
school in the three months before his death and were "lost into
the system".

Of course this does not include other immigration 'problems' such
as honour killings, female circumcisian, forced marriages, arranged
marriages etc etc etc.
Sinister side of immigration
Re: Sinister side of immigration
You're an idiot. None of the occurrences you cite have anything to do with 'immigration' per se and are facets of some 'ethnic' communities which are practised in Africa and the Indian subcontinent as well as here.
You may find them abhorrent, barbaric even, you may wish to campaign strongly against such practices, but to classify them as 'immigration problems' with it's inference that 'this sort of thing wouldn't go on if these people weren't allowed into the country' does indeed make you guilty of racist bigotry IMHO.

most people agree with you Phil, we've seen his dumb posts before on this issue which is probably why no-ones bothered to reply to him

Well if you are happy for this countries standards to be dragged down to
those of Africa and India fine.
What does it matter if a few more bodies of limbless young children are
found floating down the Thames.
Some men in Africa who have AIDS have sex with 'virgin' babies because
it is rumoured to cure AIDS.
That's what they do in Africa.
Is it OK if they do that here as well ?
All part of this rich culture in which we live.

Such brilliant logic
> None of the occurrences you cite have anything to do with 'immigration'
> are practised in Africa and the Indian subcontinent as well as here.
And you think I am the idiot.
