What an afternoon listening to the great relegation fight. I personally liked to have seen Norwich or Palace stay up as they play good football, whereas fucking West Brom actually did stay up. I would like to see Robson get relegated with another club. I am happy Southampton went, as much as I like Harry Redknapp. I am looking forward to seeing chairman Rupert Lowes face especially after sacking 2 managers this season, and I can tell you Clive Woodward will not hang around for a managerial role at Southampton.

I had a bet on Palace to stay up myself so I lost out on that one.
It was great entertainment for a neutral such as myself watching and listening to it although god knows what it's like if it's your team that's in that situation.

I'd have rather seen Norwich stay up, even though they didn't deserve to. Wide boy Rednapp will be found out sooner or later over some of the alleged transfer incentives.

I was So gutted when my team went down (crystal palace),especially the chances there had against charlton.(but saying that watching West Brom highlights on match of the day there played some good football).
But ah well,never mind we can always try and bounce back next season.(thats if the chairman bothers to give Ian dowie any cash to buy players,)thats one of the reasons Palace went down(never bought many players in transfer market,)And i cant see andy johnson staying with them now,he move to a premership club now.But this was one of the best premiership survivals in years(shame the premiership didnt last for another 3 weeks because Fulham and portsmouth could off been bought into the relegation fight as well)

I agree that Simon Jordan needs to re adjust his transfer strategy.
I do think that it's very noble of him to make a stand against agents as most are just bleeding the game dry. But that is the nature of the business and if you don't like it then either try to do something about it (at Fifa level) or get out of it.
If I remember rightly then Palace would have had Tim Cahill well before Everton got interested. His goals would almost certainly have kept them up so the ?200,000 agents fee compared to a drop of approx ?15m in revenue would have been worth it in the end no matter what the principle.
