Going back to the 1970's, I recall some excellent crisps by TUDOR. First time I had EVER tasted Pickled Onion flavour. These crisp packets were great, you sent so many in and got a medallion of a monster returned. I had the full set a few times, but the cheap metal turned green in Hong Kong when I took them out there

Funny you should mention those Arnie as I bought a jumbo sized bag of Rib eye peppered steak last night from a 24 hour Asda.

I'll let you know what I think once I've opened them.

Is it just me or do the current Walkers Prawn Cocktails taste like shit.
When I was a kid, they tasted altogether very different. I loved them back in the late 70's early 80's.

Still.....Holden MacGroyn

What were those gorgeous spare rib crisps you could get from off-licences in the mid to late eighties called? They came in a large shiny black bag (KP - or perhaps part of the Phileas Fogg range). I remember buying them with any video rented from same said establishment (Buckaroo Banzai, Peggy Sue Got Married, Starman etc - was it Proust who said all memories bring with them a dozen more?). Anyway they were utterly addictive and lasted ages, a winning combo yet to be matched.

As a reformed junk food addict(I'm now addicted to anything covered in Carob...licorice,ginger,raw mince etc) can't say any flavour really appeals but I used to have a stash(2 Twin Packs-barely enough) under the bed of Cheese & Onion for that late night binge when "Rat Patrol" re-runs were airing in the wee small hours

Some interesting articles floating about potato chips on the net

Sometimes I wonder how blind we the public have been before the internet
