Just had a customary spring clean of every virus known to man i do believe (all precautionary measures from other threads much appreciated) but ive still got the niggly problem of a desktop background that reads "windows error...spyware detected." There isnt any spyware left but i just cant get rid of this. I think it might be an explorer window but i can x out of it nor Alt+F4. Any suggestions...?

Go to a computer spyware forum
To be honest it could be anything which is why even the experts ask for complete info about your system(Via the Hijack This Log) before they help
For almost everything related to spyware including forums
