Data retrieval

Post by mart »

I've "lost" a large collection of pics. of one of my fav. Brit girls. It is on an external Iomega Peerless drive. It just vanished. Iomega say it might be retrievable but don't suggest how.
Anyone with experience of data retrieval? There's a lot of software available including freeware but where do I start?

Thanks guys.
Neither did the trick but I've found another one after a lot of googling. It seems to be doing the job but it takes time. I'll post again with details if I'm successful.

Well, I've recovered over 50% so far, more if I'm happy with incomplete sets.
The Freeware is PCFileInspectorRecovery
