Porn on Sky - Baise Moi

Post by Guilbert »

Well, last night on Sky I saw erections, blow jobs, couples fucking,
sperm visible on an arse, and a face.

What was it ?.

Well Sky Movies showed Baise Moi (Fuck me) at about 1 in the morning.

Never seen it before, but it is a sort of Thelma and Loiuse but with
more killing and violence, and real sex (as opposed to simulated).

There was real sex, erections, blow jobs, open legs shots, and two
scenes where sperm was shown.

There was also very extreme violence, with random killings and blood
spurting out of people's head and bodies.

Not sure if it was 'cut' at all, but I was surprised to see even that on
Sky.

Ah well you see that's because it was a "film" shown on a film channel and not porn.

Much like Channel 4 showing The Idiots complete with uncut sex scene and Sky also showing Intimacy again uncut.... "Art house" films, cutting edge and all that - bollocks really!

I thought Thelma and Louise was a better film.

In Baise-Moi the women are rebelling against being the victims of rape and violence - stuff you might think anyone would rebel against.

In T&L they rebel against what is supposed to be normal life. That's much more telling.

Which proves OFcom have a hidden agenda against porn. I saw Baise Moi ages ago and was genuinely shocked as to how this could pass at 18 and not R18. If a British director made a film called FUCK ME cinemas wouldn't be allowed to show the poster or list it in the paper for fear of a backlash.

That does not show that OFcom have a hidden agenda against porn, it only shows their trust in the British education system, or at least that part of the education system the great unwashed are being educated with.

Apart from that - I'd think OFcom is only reactive, not proactive. Don't think they have anything to do with cinemas, AFAIK.

Rape Me (International: English title) (USA)
Baise-moi (Australia)
Fuck Me (International: English title) (literal title)
Kiss Me (International: English title)
Runtime: 77 min / Colombia:72 min / Japan:74 min

BBFC censored 12 seconds, so not worth watching ... full version or nothing in my view.

Contrary to Heathrays comments, Baise Moi was shown in a cinema, just not general release, so you were half right. You were right though about the Fuck Me/ Shag Me alternative title not being allowed if it was literally that, hence why it kept its initial name Baise Moi. You can call a title Fuck Me In My Arse 'til I Scream and get it released as long as the title is converted into another language.

Ironic though that Baise Moi was a lot harder than most soft porn is allowed which does make one wonder.

Dealing with the BBFC as much as I do these days, I had to cut a cum shot on a womans (BBFC words) "torso" (makes her sound like a corpse dunnit?).

I went on the war path and cited a scene where Jodie Foster had spunk flung in her face from a psychopath in a prison cell (Silence Of The Lambs) and all they could say was, the film was a work of art but what I submitted was pornography. Oh, ok then. Says it all really doesnt it.

I do think it smacks of irony though. I guess you cant crack one out in five minutes during the scene. I suppose that is also their argument.

I guess if I made a bigger movie with a storyline that ran to two hours and had a scene where a woman was raped with double penetration and whopping facial cum shots in context it would be okay then...Food for thought there....
