Re: public cash spent on royals.
The greedy bitch should fund it herself out of her huge fortune ... along with the cost of security ... and lose most of the Royal property and estates.
Re: public cash spent on royals.
...and what of the public money stolen by the "alternative" i.e. President Blair & his cronies, feverishly hammering out new laws and legislation for us all in order to keep his wife and her colleagues in business for years. People bleat on and on about the Royals, as if the alternative is better.. Wake up folks, they are harmless unlike our beloved (and indeed "right honourable") "democratically elected" politicians.

It equates to 61pence per person in Britain. Its bollocks, I believe that IF she wants hand outs, she should get them from arse licking rich cunts who are happy to give donations to Royalty and Political parties. She and her dysfunctional family are fascists and I think ANY person who disagrees with their 61p going towards the Royal Family, should have it returned in a rebate every tax year.
I speak from experience that it is a total waste of money after working on Royal visits at Army bases, Anne excepted
It disgusts me that certain members milk it to the max on helecopter jaunts and private aircraft laid on for their personal timetables
Anne is the only one I tolerate who actually uses the tube and public transport and is happy to queue for her food at NAAFI and messes she visits

they should at least pay a grand each year for tax also.
Re: public cash spent on royals.
At least a grand? We ALL pay at least that. They DO pay tax nowadays Steve, thats why they have no problems milking whatever they can get and having a clear conscience about it

Sir, your attitude to this matter is mean and irrational. I'm surprised at you. You?re bitter and consumed, simply because someone else (as you see it) seems to have been born into a position of privilege. But your festering bitterness far, far, outweighs the 61 pence that it seems it has cost you this year. Totally irrational (aren?t you upset about the ?30.00 Gordon Brown scams off you each time you fill your car up?). I'll not go into the massive benefits in tourism and prestige that having the world's foremost Royal family brings to the UK, as I've been there before. I just see this as another small facet of the phenomenon of 'the western hate figure'
Western hate figures are most likely to be at the head of government or the state, and usually of a rightwing persuasion. The hatred is usually fermented by middleclass leftists, at university or in journalism. They prime the mob. The boorish, lumpen, mob. The mob get their opinions from ?The Sun? or ?The Mirror? and from the drip, drip, drip of the BBC and general media. The overall message is that it is simply cool to hate these people (rightwing leaders, royals, etc). And hey, if you don't have a reason to hate them, don?t worry, the real brains behind the hate campaign have provided plenty of handy slogans that you can repeat if challenged (have you noticed how a lot of people who are being interviewed on TV talk in slogans?) - and thus avoid looking like you didn?t know what the fuck you are on about. Hey, I know, it's cool to be one of the gang. Holding a pint in your right hand, making like you know the score, denouncing whomever it is fashionable to denounce. It cements your place in the gang, clique or group. For most people it?s just a load of pub talk and bravado. A load of bollocks. They have no real commitment to that position ? or any position ? but for a few the hatred becomes real. The poisonous seed of irrationality that has been planted, germinates, takes on an ugly life of it own. It?s not a pretty sight.

"at least andrew seems to make the most of his good fortune"
What about Harry? He knows how to enjoy himself too. Smoking weed, drinking to excess, effing and blinding, sticking two fingers up to pompous boring bastards, not to mention shagging one of the tastiest landowning heiresses in Africa. If Harry was my son I'd make like 'Spike the dog' in 'Tom & Jerry' - "Dats ma boy!?
