Try this, K-Lite Mega Codec Pack 1.33 from
Plays Windows media files + Quicktime + Real.
Don't make the same mistake as me. I downloaded the alternative Quicktime and Real players first then found they are included in the Mega Codec Pack...Doh!
I find the Classic Media Player more stable than WMP9.
