I think F1 sucks these days, too many politics and more concerns with the money rolling in. After what happened at Indianapolis, I hope Bernie gets his cummuppance and maybe put Flavio Briatorri in charge
Its a long cry from the days of the 70s and 80s when such great names graced the (often hazardous) circuits.
Since Senna died and Shcumacher won everything, it went crap

As a spectacle,its a joke IMHO

We had 10 years of F1 in Adelaide and it was seen purely as a 4 day party/piss up.

Very few actually gave a shit about the racing,just the friendly atmosphere which is more due to alcohol than any sense of camaraderie

Compared to what took its place...Touring Cars....Holdens & Fords that the fans drive being hotted up and raced...thats how you get a REAL fan base and not the chardonnay elite 'I must be seen' crowd

Formula 1 is far too elite & out of touch with the common man on the street
as evidenced by that 6 car farce in the US of A.

The US GP showed how much of a farce the whole F1 has become, it's all about politics and nothing about the fans. I myself prefer Touring Cars, Rallying and GT in terms of 4 wheel racing but nothing beats Motorcycle racing! Give me MotoGP, WSB, BSB, AMA, Speedway, Trails, Supermoto any day. The racing is near the knuckle and the out come is never guarenteed!

$150 for a fucking ticket to watch a six car "race".

I used to watch Formula 1 all the time in the halcyon days of Senna, Prost, Piquet and Mansell but I can't say I've watched a Grand Prix for over 10 years now.

I suppose with the satelite TV we all have more choice and can pick and choose and it is way down on my list of to do's.

That farce in Indianapolis isn't going to help the sport either.
