You are right about End Games, but that is the only case so far where VCA have cut more than the BBFC as far as I know. You are also assuming that the Your Choice version will be identical to the VCA version. This hasn't always been the case for the VHS tapes.

With all due respect you are wrong and Bob is right here. While the case with earlier films is likely to be different (BBFC rules on pissing having been relaxed fairly recently), Ben Dover himself has made it clear on numerous occasions on his own forum that the British (R18) versions of his recent and future films are far harder than the American (VCA) versions as stocked by Your Choice. The American version has all the A2M and pissing removed, the British version doesn't. That is the only difference (and is a result of the prudishness of Ben's US distributor, VCA, rather than any aspect of US law). Ben also does a European cut which may well be slightly stronger than the R18 version, but is likely to be badly dubbed into German which kind of defeats the object of watching British girls. For further information/confirmation do a search for 'R18' on the forum at www.ben-dover.com where Ben explains the above in greater detail.

'American VCA versions as stocked by Your Choice' - this is a dubious statement that applies definitely only to DVDs as far as I can see - so far that is.

The most recent Ben Dover to be released by Your Choice was Royal Reamers 1. I have seen the VHS Your Choice version, the R18 VHS version and the VCA DVD. The Your Choice version is about 2-3 minutes longer than the R18 VHS version. The latter is identical to the main film on the VCA DVD, though the extra two minutes of the Your Choice version - nothing significant, just Hayley Thompson masturbating - is included in the extras section, along with a longer outtake from the Amy Ball scene. So it seems that in this case the maximum footage is on the VCA DVD.

As to Royal Reamers 2, I haven't seen any version as yet. There is pissing in the R18 DVD reviewed by Mr Anon on this site -




but I don't know whether this has been cut by VCA. It may have been. Neither do I know which version Your Choice will get. If someone wants to be sure of getting these pissing scenes (which are not urolagnia by the way) then it is probably safer to get the R18, in this particular case, but I don't automatically assume that this will always be the case.

I don't know about the videos, but DVD-wise, the VCA version of RR2 is 9 minutes shorter than the R18 version (feature = 144 mins rather than 153). Though the brief LaToya and Jessie pissing sequences will have been cut (the latter is part of the bonus footage so not included in the above durations), I expect the vast majority of snips in the VCA version will be to the Layla Jade & Jessie J scene as this features a lot of fairly quickfire ass-to-mouth action which Ben says VCA cuts from his features. There is also a tiny amount of A2M in the LaToya scene which will also have been excised. If the Layla-Jessie scene is your main reason for wanting this film, it may well be worthwhile going for the R18 version if you can find it.

It should also be taken into account that the cuts may well amount to more than the 9 minutes I just mentioned, depending on how the film was transferred. Usually a PAL recording (like the R18 version) will run 4% faster than an NTSC recording (like the VCA version) so in fact the 153 minutes running time of the R18 version would represent around 159 minutes running time at NTSC rates, meaning that 15 mins (rather than 9) had been cut. This maths is making my head hurt. I'm going to go and lie down... [Incidentally, have you taken the speed difference into account when comparing running times of the different VHSs of RR1?]

The two VHS versions of RR1 I've seen were both PAL as I was talking about R18 and Your Choice. I've seen only the DVD from VCA, as I did make clear.

BTW the Your Choice tape of End Games includes some pissing and pissing-related stuff in the Sonja scene.

I'm simply saying that the situation is complex and I wait to see the evidence before saying which version is the most complete.
