Thats rather humane of you photo-taker. Why should we put them out of our misery so easy. As I always say, there are far worse ways to die than death.

I'm not going to get all pc on you because I hate political correctness pesonally but lets not run away with our emotions here.

I for one would let them live to either implode on their own hatred or live in guilt for the crimes they have committed.

A sentence for life is a living hell that a bullet to the head can't compare to.

Believe me, I've seen the inside of a cell for a mere few hours and I was going off my nut. Can you imagine what a life time will do to a man?

We don't want to get into the death penalty here as we all know that people in the past have been caught up in their emotions and condemned the wrong people. Besides, who gives the executioners license to take lives. Right or wrong, this makes them legally appointed murderers in my eyes and rights no wrongs.

If found guilty then life imprisonment.

Murder is murder, whether done by terrorists or in the name of the state, and can never be justified.

Furthermore, given these are "suicide bombers", wouldn't executing them turn them into the martyrs they wanted to become?

I'm with Terry on this one. I myself have seen the inside of a cell for 6 weeks and it does give you time to take a long look at yourself.

Also as I've said in other posts about prison for murderers then a life in prison means a life of hell as they live in constant fear of reprisals and revenge attacks. So why give them the easy way out? Let them live their lives in suffering so they might experience a little of what they put there victims through.

Finally don't get caught up in the idea that it's cheaper to give the death penalty rather than life in prison as (these are US figures) the cost to carry out the death penalty with the long drawn out court proceedings comes to an average of about $3m, approx the same that it would cost to bang that person up for 45-50 years

it's a non argument, we cannot have the death penalty and be in the EU so no point in going on about it

we are Leeds.... , and we can still beat the mighty Chester
