Only 12 years since the last one! Let's hope it's better than Peter Gabriel's last one which took 10 years and contains precisely 3 good songs!

Gabriel's last album was a slow burner. Some very good stuff on it, if not a patch on some of his previous work.

Got to admire Ms Bush. She doesn't give a stuff for the critics, doesn't compromise---and I wonder how many women performers owe her a debt of gratitude (yes, Amos, I'm talking to you).

Hounds Of Love is her masterpiece. Hopefully, Aerial will be another classic.

You what!! I thought "Up" was awesome, especially "I Grieve", I thought it was his best album since PG4/"Security" personally. PG is the bollocks.

Kate Bush!! It will be fantastic to have something from her again, maybe even some live gigs??? With David Gilmour on guitar!!

Up wasn't as immediately accessible as Us or So, and needed the listener to do something radical---and actually listen.

PG4 is a good one to compare it with, since that was also an album that required some work. San Jacinto and Family And The Fishing Net were hardly pop chart fodder. (Best tracks in my opinion---Wallflower and Kiss Of Life).

Up has some sublime stuff---but Gabriel doesn't make it easy for the casual listener.

Incidentally, Bush's Hounds Of Love was criticised at the time of release for a near indecipherable second side. Over the years that's been forgotten, and the album is seen as a classic. Aerial can't be released soon enough.

I agree it's about time although I believe that since the excellent (in my opinion) Red Shoes, she has got married and started a family.

I can't see her doing the live concert stuff though. She hates touring and only ever undertaken one tour early in her career.

I've got a bootleg cd of Kate Bush somewhere full of rareities and b-sides (Some of these tracks are incredible, there is enough b-side stuff to comprise a whole album and it would be phenomenal) featuring a live version of "Running Up That Hill" with DG on lead guitar and it is fucking incredible.

Just a one-off mega-gig would suffice. She could easily fill Earl's Court (Close to home so she doesn't need to tour!) and release it on dvd and as a live album and turn a healthy profit. Imagine "The Ninth Wave" performed live! Bring on Eric Clapton and The Gilmour as guests and maybe duet with Peter Gabriel too. T'would be the gig of all-time.

Up was awesome??? Are my eyes hearing you right? Have you actually heard The Barry Williams Show - it's one the worst songs ever! (although i agree I Grieve is superb!).
