Now, whilst some of you might consider the above news somewhat surprising, I can assure you that the Dutch have just the experience necessary to provide such aid.
Back in the fifteenth century, the Swedish mariner, inventor and professor of Anatomical Sciences, Connie Lindquist, moved to Holland. She soon became quite famous in her adopted homeland for her inventions such as the strap-on, the loofah and the bendy double-ender.
However it was her discovery in 1478 of the 'Minge-Bean' which made her a national celebrity. Despite a mass debate in the all-male Dutch College of Physicians, who had clearly been rubbed-up the wrong way, her ideas quickly gained acceptance, paricularly among the female population.
The following year she renamed it 'The Clitoris', which literally translates as 'The Little Man In The Boat'. The King Of Holland declared that henceforth the Dutch Navy would be all-female.
She is remembered today by the fact that Holland is often referred to as 'The Nether Regions' or 'The Netherlands'. Her memory is also kept alive by the Royal Dutch Navy, as they sing such sea-shanties as Flick Him Out Of That Boat, Frigging In The Rigging or We Love Connie Lindquist.
