From this forum?

I know some of the yahoo groups have an "email me each time a new item is posted" facility, but that can be changed. Didn't realise this place had the same, Sarah.

The only thing I can think of doing is click 'My Profile' at bottom of message wiindow, then click 'Edit Profile' and make sure the box is ticked to hide your email address from other users. apart from that I can't see any option to receive emails when somebody replies to your post. I never get mails like that and can't ever remember explicitly stating I didn't want them.

As a last resort you could change the email address in your profile to a non-existent one (x@y.com or something) and then at least you wouldn't see them.

Hi Sarah

My email is on my profile and I've also never had any messages in the way you have.

Have you asked the site, how to stop them?

Andy

That was going to be my second port of call.
I didnt want to bother them with what may have turned out to be a simple ticking or unticking of a box id missed.
I'll email the powers that be,
Thanks :D

Sarah

When you left your message you must of clicked the box

[] E-mail replies to this thread, to the address above.

All the new messages on that thread would be notified to you.

As was said above Admin may be able to stop them for you

As 'Letch' surmises, you must have inadvertently ticked the 'E-mail replies to this thread, to the address above.' box found below each reply pane (or should that be 'pain'?).

Unfortunately, there's no way that we can stop an individual member from receiving automated replies once they've requested them, short of closing the thread. Hopefully, the offending topic will die sooner rather than later and you can reclaim your email inbox.

Sorry not to be of more assistance.
