I've never seen an S&M movie that is as bad as that ... but that is REAL LIFE and has a far more corrupting effect than any role play movie. They can ban porn, but that sort of stuff will still be legal as it is impossible to legislate against real events. What is worse? ... and there are people who get their kick out of that and not porn.

I went to the link and checked out the subject matter, which was enough for me. I did not look at any.

As you say some people get their kicks this way but this is the real world and cannot be censored. In the Eighties Mrs Mary Whitehouse advised the Home Office that exposure to explicitly violent imagery from the Vietnam war led to people demanding an end to the conflict and getting the troops home. Mrs Whitehouse was concerned that we would not be able to get any young men, in the future to be soldiers!

The imagery, Mr Goggins at the Home Office, is interested in is "sexually violent". Remove the sexual element and he is not interested at all! He is concerned about SM films where women and men are portrayed as enjoying games of domination and submission. He knows that it is acting and if he doubts otherwise then he has the evidence of the crime right there in the film, exhibit 1.

this fucking country is shit anyway. As a brit born and bread and almost 20 generations that i can trace, i can say this country has gone to hell.

As some one else commented on, the hate monger clerics, last i checked this is OUR country, and when u own something, does that mean u dont have to share it with people u dont want to ? so how does it become illegal for us to say "we dont want to share our land with you ?" its our country, they are breaking the law being here, yet its illegal throw them out ? eh ?

If i was to preach on the street to kill anyone who was not white, as a white man, id be taken to jail and be being molested by some big coloured guy called bubba.

This country is weak and going to hell, and we're all going along for the ride, this law is just another example of the small mindedness that allows the nuts to gain power, much like the other examples herein.

However the Spanner case was upheld by the ECHR on the grounds that real physical harm was inflicted in the making of the video in question. I agree that we must draw the line somewhere in the depiction of "sexual violence". I think that is where real physical harm of a lasting nature is shown.

The new censorship law to outlaw extreme pornography is now being drawn up. Of course what is extreme to one person is play acting to another. It is the interpretation that matters.

I must say all the "sexual violence" I have seen is obviously acted. I suggest that the Home Office produce images of the type of websites and images that they are intending to ban. They have seen them I have not even though I have been a pornographer since the Sixties.

The only ones that I have ever heard of was when a corrupt police officer tried to sell forensic photographs of a rape and murder. No one in Soho would buy them. Also in Holland Hans Burger the SM film-maker and producer was offered some photos of real rapes shot in Bosnia. He called the Rotterdam police. This is what will be sold if fantasy SM becomes illegal.

Prohibition leads to black markets and corruption. Criminals will move into this market using prostitutes instead of professional models.

The only images of hooks I have ever seen imbedded in flesh was in American Psycho!

How about those people in places like bourneo that havent been touched by western pollution, who put meat hooks into their flesh ? and hang from tree's to otain a higher state, are they all corrupted ?

I think the way the law will be applied is pretty obvious. ie the non consensual depiction of the brutalisation of women. One posting says that the japanese manage to watch violent porn and not go out and rape and murder each other. Problem is we are not Japanese. In this country, everyday people are being stabbed, raped and murdered, almost routinely.

Personally, (I expect Ill be bombarded by abuse for this as usual) I don't think our society is civilised enough to be able to enjoy the visual medium without censorship.

Anyway, why is everyone so concerned with protecting the rights of expression of the likes of Max hardcore and the producers of meatholes.com. people like this will ultimately destroy the business for all of us. Do you think they'll fight for your rights?

I know its not fashionable..............but i actually quite LIKE women and think its profoundly wrong for them to be depicted in any way that brutalises or humiliates them, regardless of whether some of them "Like it".
