I absolutely hate this fucking 4-5-1 system and as a Liverpool fan we have more experience of it than most.

It is a boring defensive system where managers are sending the side out trying not to lose the game first and then trying to sneak something at the other end.

Rafa Benitez does it at Liverpool (and at Valencia before) and look at Liverpools Premership away record last season. 11 defeats from 19 games. Benitez thinks it was solely lack of squad depth by I think it was tactics as well.

Look at the last 4 games Liverpool have played. Boro, Sofia, Sunderland and Moscow. All were 4-5-1 and up to 78 mins of Super Cup then only one goal scored. Then we go 4-4-2 and score 3 goals in 20 mins.

It aint rocket science is it!!!!!!!

As for Sven then the cliche about football being a simple game complicated by idiots springs to mind.

Ditch the 4-5-1 or ditch the swede.
