I agree some are in real hardship... But!!!!!

Did anyone watch Wife Swap and see her top of the range widescreen TV etc, Leather Sofa's....

What made me laugh was the fact her hubby is on the sick (with a bad back) but still manages to help her churn out more kids....

She even admitted that she did cash in hand work at a local taxi firm....

Plus he has proved he can work by running a B and B with her for a reality show on Channel 4 the other week.... Lets hope his local job club spotted it and get him out to work pronto...

Having watched some bizarre sentences handed down over the years and the logical conclusion is the kids saved her

What would be a harsher sentence

Jail or 80 hours community service/looking after 8 kids?

I know which I'd prefer

cheers

"How in the hell is it people always blame Blair for everything. Its the courts fault for letting her away with it. Some dottery senilie judge who thinks 7 grand is lunch money and not worth a custodial sentence"

Who's The Lord Chancellor?
Why, it's Lord Irvine.

When did he become Lord Chancellor?
After Labour won the election in 1997.

Why did he get the job?
Because he'd been head of chambers where Tony and Cherie worked.

People usually blame Blair for everything because it's usually down to him either screwing something up, or him appointing one of his mates and then them screwing something up, that causes all the problems.

I will not vote labour ever.....

In 1997 I got my first mortgage and the Labour government two months later scrapped Mortgage tax relief.....

I was a single person who had saved hard to get a deposit to enable me to get on the property ladder, it would have taken me years in my circumstances to ever get a council property and in one full swoop I was ?40 a month worse off.

When will hard working families/single people and couples get a look in......

My nan/granded bought 6 kids up after the war in East London when there was no state benefit and people had to work to survive..... now for some it seems to easy to live from the state system.

Tear up all you ID, go to the local cop shop, and demand asylum, and tell them you have rights. Freebies all the way.
We have need of you again, great king.

Actually Peter, you're not far off. If you plead asylum then the government must process your claim, regardless of where you come from or the circumstances surrounding you. This means it is entirely possible for you to plead asylum in your country of origin.

Do I take it that you don't actually understand what "Fascist" means.
Or are you just spraying your usual bile?
I'm pointing out that people are quick to condemn benefit fraud but probably think its OK to cheat on income tax.
