Not a chance mate, hasn't made a decent album since 24 Nights at Albert's hall.
This man works with Simon Climie of slimy Fisher.

Blackmore, Beck, Moore, Trower, Page, May, Van Halen, Gilmour, BB King, Mike Campbell, Joe Satriani and the great Peter Green, all as good if not better than Clapton. He and Hendrix were way overrated.

I like a lot of Clapton's stuff but it is only on a par with other axemen. He has shagged some top class totty though!

Always difficult to say who is/was best. If they die young they will always be put on a pedestal and usually thought of as much better than they really were. Old slow hand is excellent but does tend to take himself a bit too seriously. The Cream concert shown the other night was good but there was an awfull lot of extended pieces all played with eyes shut and that constipated look on his face.
Would like to throw Steve Hackets name into the hat when great guitarists are mentioned.

Great Guitarists.

Eric Clapton
Peter Green
Jeff Beck
Stevie Ray Vaughan
Steve Cropper
Richard Thompson
Jimi Hendrix
Derek Trucks
Dave Gilmore
Rory Gallagher
Duane Allman
Dickey Betts
B B King
Ry Cooder
Mick Taylor
Frank Zappa
Pete Townsend
Mike Bloomfield
Jimmy Page

Clowns

Steve Vai
Joe Santriani
Eddie Van Halen

Vai and Santriani are just flash show offs they could never be part of a band, Van Halen is very good but he to acts like a clown at times.
