Post by Genie »

Anyone else continually losing connection to yahoo mail, yet everything else is working fine and dandy?

Same here. 'This Page Cannot Be Displayed', every other time I click on something. Last week I couldn't use the email 'Reply' button, but that's now working.

strange cos the bt/yahoo mail has never been a problem, and you also get 3gig of storage, why can't yahoo do it on its own?

Brothers and Sisters i have a dream... ummm had a dream...

Imagine Yahoo is George Foreman and Google is Ali, now re-enact the fight, and you will see why yahoo cant manage on their own, they threw everything they had at Google, and google was literally like "Is That Is ?", Rumble in the Jungle ? Crash in Cyberspace ? yeah whatever!", then google with its almighty blow knocked yahoo the f out.

2 Minor issues, with your account :)

1, You have to pay for membership do you not ?

2, IF you change ISPs you LOSE your mailbox

which are PRETTY MAJOR issues infact :) by the end of this year google will be at 3gb and by the end of next year google will be at 6gb storage, coincidentally, IF you manage to fill you google mail box, it AUTOMATICALLY expands to allow you the extra room as i found out when one of my accounts fo bombed with about 900 emails with files between 3-9mb was sent :)

Looks like I've been lucky so far with no real Yahoo problems.

I like it as ISP and PC independant, spam filter works well so I neither waste time downloading nor get the trash on my PC to cause hassle, and I don't have 'sensitive' emails on my PC hard drive.

Still on dial-up which cuts every 2hrs but with Yahoo I don't loose anything I'm in the middle of if I reconnect straight away unlike some other on line email systems.

Well i sent the invites out to everyone who asked.

Anyone else ?

I have Yahoo, Hotmail, Gmail, Lycoz, Excite, o2, AOL, and god knows how many others accounts i use on the go, and my fave has to be Gmail it goes that extra mile and its ALWAYS there, not gonna go anywhere if you dont login for a month, or you move ISP.

I even have a gmail account get a mirror of my main email, and then set the outgoing email of my gmail account to my domain.

So i email from gmail with cenobitez.com or whatever other email :)
