Partly, but mainly it is about legal rights, e.g. who owns the house and the like.

The best bit was this morning on Radio 5 Live, when they had two guests both opposed to gay marriage. One was just your random bigot, but the good bit was the lesbian/feminist: essentially her problem was that she regarded marriage as uncool (not her choice of word, but it boiled down to this) and she did not want the gay community to become uncool.

Hi, why is it that some see Lesbians porn as a turn-on and Gay guys walking down the street arm-in-arm as a heresy? Even from a selfish perspective, most guys should want more Gay men, as this means more women for the straight guys, lol. If it makes people happy and doesn't harm anybody else, let people get married to whatever gender they wish. It seems the only people this harms are people, that think you are only allowed to be gay when indoors, lol.

Cheers!

Can only be a good thing

Anything barriers that make a person a 2nd class citizen in society should be removed IMHO

Imagine if your partner of 15 years was sick in hospital but because your gay you have no rights as would a hetersexual MARRIED couple

As for the fears of all those do gooder homophobes that the next hetersexual generation are suddenly going to change teams over night
I suggest you do some research and educate yourself

As for Gays adopting kids again.Only those that are totally committed will ever go down that track. From what I've seen the process is long & arduous
for any type of couple

Question is hich sex makes the best parents given that theres a huge number of sinlge parent families that already exist?

I'm betting some of these single heterosexual parents have children that turn out to be gay....oh my god how did that happen ;-)

I have no problems with gays,I love lesbians, they make great movies,in fact if I were a woman, I'd be a lesbian.

"The gay lifestyle is all about promiscuity, shagging anyone who drops their pants"

Well I'll take your word for that - sounds like you know what you're talking about.
