Have you been in touch with Ebay ? not much use i know . The thing Ebay told me when i had a bit of a disagreement with someone was to ask in the community , straight up , advice off of Ebay . If it's paid for through pay-pal , isn't it covered that way ? . JJ .

I just regard ebay as a breeding ground for conmen.I was once conned and sent second hand goods described as new. The seller's response was 'what did you expect for that money?' - ebay and paypal were both equally useless. I just wrote the money off and never used either again.

When Ebay advised me to contact the community for advice on what to do regard my dispute , i read some other peolpes gripes that where in the forum , blimey o' riley , don't go firkin' about in there if you are of unsound mind , weak stomache or nervous disposition . How the other half live , crikey , there's some right horror stories . JJ .

Story on BBC Watchdog last night did you see??...it's the luck of the draw.I've bought old cameras on there..been excellent,no problem...yet I bought a VHS tape of an out of print movie from some guy,and the darn thing had a dodgy soundtrack...but at four quid Im not sending it back...I'll just wait until one day the thing will appear somewhere else.

Moral of story, anything mechanical you are taking a risk,Mr.Conman is around every corner.

Wait till the Nigerians contact you. Remember the 419 scam? Now on eBay. And I only accept eGold now on everything when selling.
