Sound recording software?

Post by fudgeflaps »

Does anybody know of any good sound/ voice recording software, just to record the voice through a mic?

Windows' sound recorder only records for one minute, pa-a-a-ants, so I need a package that offers greater recording time, compression of files onto a half-decent format and one which might have different voice 'filters'- you know, just as photoshop can imbue pics with different effects, I need something that could give my voice a Russian twang. Or sound like a duck, yay.

I've had a laugh doing some sketches with friends, so I want something a bit more advanced to really have a laugh with.

Thanks again.

VoiceMask and Cooledit as pretty simple to use together and give ok results :)

It is said that both love and truth walk hand in hand. But if the need is great enough, can we learn to love a lie?
