anyone know why my i pod doesnt auotmatically update from my i tunes when i plug it into the USB port anymore????


and yes i have switched off the shuffel option.

This seems to be a problem with various iPods. Have a look through the various sections of the Apple iPod Discussions -

Apple Discussions ? iPod.

Check that your ipod prefrences are still set to 'update all songs and playlists automatically'

If you don't already know how to do this, open itunes software (obviously) then click edit then prefrences and select the ipod tab.

From there you can adjust your ipod settings and prefrences.

If you've got Windows XP and it worked until recently, the easiest thing is to restore you machine back to that time Start/Help/Restore ... and choose a day from the calendar, it only takes 5 minutes. Failing that the easiest way is probably to uninstall and re-install any software on your PC.
