All news groups are the same with very few exceptions
As for Nospam Groups being ontopic thats a laugh
Users will upload what they want where they want
No different to P2Ps

A couple of groups that offer paid trials with full refund if cancelled within the free period are
28 days
3 days
unlike other groups which require you to know groups addys this one provides a list of some 14,000+ groups
Personally I find restricted free access via enough

This is quite a handy little review of the various news servers available and their pros and cons, the pricing might not exactly be up to date though:
PEOPLE think Stephen Hawking is so clever, but when you ask him a question and he is typing in the answer on his little screen, how do we know he isn't just looking up the answer on the Internet?
