Right.
I got an ipod nano today-great. The guy in the shop tells me to install itunes to the computer in order to export files to the nano. iPods don't run wma files, but itunes has on-board software to convert them to the preferred AAC (?) format. The iTunes program will take your media from the same source folder as your previous media player (in my case, Windows Media Player, it's served me well).
So far, so good- a minor inconvenience.
Now, just as iTunes gets to the end of the wma conversion process (which took about three bloody hours), i'm informed that my Windows drive has no space left!! !swear! So, where are the converted files stored, so I can obliterate them and free up space? I was assured a hitch-free process, now I'm scunnered!
Help, troops- what can I do? Where can I access the 'new' files, how can I reclaim a happy hard disk?
Thanks in advance.

Cheers, J; when you are not compulsively swearing and valiantly fighting Tourettes, you are very useful indeed! !wink!
I'll give it a go, update you tomorrow nite.

Won't fudgeflaps still need to know which folder the files are saved in so he can check the relevant box?
Perhaps a Search by filename/s will show the location.

Claimed back 4Gb disk space with that... nice one.
I found the folder containing the converted files as well, so in total I reclaimed 8Gb.
Not bad!
