Blast from the Past!
Who can remember this programme growing up in the 70's?
Granada's "Rainbow" rival ran from 1973 thru to early 79.
I've just managed to get hold of a dvd containing 3 episodes transferred from beta, great quality... but what strangeness! How great can eBay be?
A talking singing mop head ("Dusty Mop") and a talking eating cushion called Humphrey who looked a bit like a dog, no wonder my generation are so warped!
I had totally forgotten about this show, but it all cameflooding back.
Alan Rothwell (Picture Box, Corrie, Brookside) was the mainstay of the show, each episode has a different female (probably different seasons) including Amanda "Alma" Barrie and the gorgeous sexy Louise "WATCH!" Hall-Taylor
Hickory House
Hickory House
They're locking them up today, they're throwing away the key...I wonder who it be tomorrow, you or me?
