Watched "Anatomy Of Hell" (Catherine Breillat movie w/ Rocco Siffredi) where I nearly fell off my seat in shock when I saw a guy sucking on a cock...Not that I'm outraged by homosexual activity in the slightest but by the BBFC allowing this when us pornographers cant get away with this on 18 certificate classification...Now I know the age old argument about porn versus art but then it had me thinking...Couldnt the BBFC allow oral/ genital kissing and sucking at the very least? Lets face it thie way soft is allowed these days they might as well bring in a new certificate 16 cos the content is certainly soft enough for a 15 year old to handle under the existing certificate...except you have to be 16 to engage in sexy stuff of course.

Its just another slap in the face for what the board allow mainstream producers and not producers of adult material. Their shouldnt be a rule for some and another rule for others whichj is obviously the case here.

I was waiting for someone to mention The Brown Bunny. I've not seen it myself, apart from the one scene in question (lets see Chlo? Sevigny get any big movie offers now without having to give some more head first), but from what I've heard the film is utter shit.

According to the bbfc website the film was passed without any cuts and contains "real strong sex", generally when it comes to recent 18 rated mainstream releases the bbfc have not cut or pixelated any hardcore scenes as seen in 9 Songs and Anatomy of Hell.

The argument for this is that the sex is put into "an artistic context" So as long as there is a bit of artiness involved, a reason for being if you like...then hardcore is justified it seems....
