officialy video died about 18 months back. they are only manufactured to order hence their sky high price. sure there are still some old syle playaz that think old skool is kool but if you wana be in you have to be digital. i mean who on earth will miss such things as tape stretch and dirty heads while making sure that house brick in media form was as far from magnets as possible.

video tape with real time 1 to 1 recording RIP

DVD YIPEEEEEEEEE and only 8 mins to copy

If you go into any Poundstretcher or similar type discount shops, you can get a pack of 5 JVC or Maxell 180min for ?3.50. Their 240min tapes are ?1.00 each.
If theirs a decline and a subsequent hike in price, no-ones informed these stores

so ?1 for a blank video cassette or 20p for a dvdr. ermmmm i aint never worked for nasa but with me shoes and socks off i work it out that video is more expensive by around 80p. so for the price of 1 blank vhs you get 5 dvdr's with around the same capacity yet video is cheap.
