so who is she ? hehe, just kidding. my euro girls knowledge is one of my leading qualities, im just behind rudeboy and the egafd mods lol.
but to divert badly.....dibble...or anyone. Why have VWs got such a reliable reputation, ive been a Golf boy since i was a kid and ive got a mk3 which ive had for 3 years (from 89K-125K - the most expensive times) and granted its not broken down once, (just repairs ud expect round 100K) but its never been immobile.
So, without that answering my own question , why do VW have that repuation as being so reliable, when surely bmw, lexus, mercs etc? are all reliable when they are at that level....i dont geddit
:D:D!
thanks

German engineering ? Having owned a Bm' meself for 3 years and not had any serious trouble to keep it off the road , other than when some sod pinched it 5months ago !tears! . But do Vw change most components at service intervals as do Bm , Merc' and i believe Audi ? . JJ . My bro in law had a mk1 golf '1980 v', that's still alive and well , see it often knocking about .
