BBC Is Responsible For Rainforest Destruction!

You may find that statement hard to believe, but would I joke about such a serious matter?.

I can confirm that during last night's Ten O'Clock News, a rather sinister-looking 'reporter' issued this chilling threat:

"Whilst you watch this programme, half a square mile of the rainforest will be destroyed".

Now I know when a threat is real and I can assure you that this guy meant business. The sheer callousness in his voice was unmistakable; the lack of emotion truly menacing.

Clearly our annual licence fee is not enough for the BBC and they are seeking even more unscrupulous means to make a profit.

Did he say they wouldn't do it if more of us watched? I would be willing to suffer through the news if it meant saving the New Forest.
