Seems strange, especially as he was quite happy to receive money for appearing on some tacky has-been celebrity show.

One of the other Pistols (can't remember which one) said the other week that the organisers wouldn't pay for his kids' flights/hotels etc for the trip when they would be entered into the hall, so that's why they said no.

That would be Paul Cook the drummer.
I'm glad they stuck 2 fingers up at it and wished The Clash had done so in 2003. I cried when Bruce Springsteen and Elvis Costello sang London Calling, I really did.

sanctimonious talentless arsenal fan. And still sounds like Albert Steptoe. Iggy & The Stooges were miles better and started years before the Pistols. UK Punk rock has always been shite. Centred round a bunch of art school twats in London.
