A great man and a great player, he will join Bestie in heaven to exchange anecdotes- the Largs boat story will have everyone 'up there' in stitches. As you have no physical form 'up there', I suppose you can't end up in tears, sticthes etc..... but you get my point.

The players shall wear 7, and we will hopefully score 7 in a tribute to you wee guy!

Thanks for the memories.

Unfortunately, I am not aware of anyone from the Celtic team of the bygone age other than Danny McGrain, nor did I have the privilage of seeing Mr Johnstone play, but some Scottish lads I know spoke very highly of him.
Its always sad when a footballing great passes on, especially when they actually PLAYED their hearts out and wore the shirt with pride. Something most players could learn from.

Hi Ace , It is not as bad as you may think. Plenty of players left who still play from the heart eg, Lampard and Terry also Rooney. Three players who are a the top of their game; but leave you with the feeling that even if they were not earning big money their play would still be the same.
