Here's one for you Ace.
In a pre-season friendly in 1987 or 8 I think when I was playing for Hanwell Town in Ealing I played against a Chelsea 'eleven'. They had Clive Walker (I think), Roger Frost and a few others who had 1st team experience and John Hollins as kinda player-coach/manager. Well they kicked off and I clattered into Frost to let him know he would be in a game and promptly got booked. Next passage of play Hollins has me and he gets booked. Next passage I clobber Hollins and a fight ensues and both of us get sent off. All in the space of the first 3-4 mins of the game. And all this back in the days when you could kick people more and get away with it ! I guess I wouldn't last many games these days if I was playing now.
