I think the Sex Pistols are the most over-rated band in history, let's face it they were complete shit. Total and utter toss. Wank.

For a start they were a manufactured band, arguably the first of a sorry breed. Secondly they were a bunch of scumbags you'd cross the road to avoid, Steve Jones was a thieving pikey, Lydon was just a twat and "Sid Vicious" (Yawn) was probably the most miserable individual ever shat into existence. Thank God he did the decent thing and fucked off quickly with his junkie whore girlfriend.

They certainly could never play. The drummer sounds like someone building a shed badly and there's a million blokes playing guitar in pub' bands better than Jones, no way is he the "Great rhythm player" the bullshitters in the media big him up to be. That little hunchback....don't get me started on that little fag.

They were always full of shit too, reforming a few years down the line to wring the last few quid out of the name...just like all the bands they claimed to despise. As for all that nihilistic no future, destroy, hate bollocks...oh grow up and fuck off.

They deserve a place in music history somewhere inbetween Brother Beyond and Curiosity Killed The Cat but thousands bought into their bullshit.
