Alias Smith & Jones

Post by crofter »

I remember watching this programme and really enjoying it during my childhood as it always had lots of action and the 2 main leads never took themselves too seriously.
Well just watched a Feature Length Episode of the TV Show on Channel 5 today and really enjoyed it, so thought I would look up what the 2 main actors had done in recent times as I could not recall any of their "other" stuff, to my shock and horror just learned that Pete Duel who played "Hannibal" shot himself on New Years Eve 1971 right at the height of his fame ... just goes to show, on the outside it might appear you have everthing going for you (good looks, fame, money) but inside it can be a different story ... fucking shocking stuff!!

RIP Hannibal.

NOT TO BE CONFUSED WITH "ALAS SMITH & JONES" BTW!!
PEOPLE think Stephen Hawking is so clever, but when you ask him a question and he is typing in the answer on his little screen, how do we know he isn't just looking up the answer on the Internet?

I wish they'd put Alias Smith & Jones on in the afternoon again, instead of Murder She Wrote.

A great pity other so called actors couldn't shoot themselves, Ross Kemp, Leslie Grantham etc so we don't have to watch their shite on TV.

You don't HAVE to watch 'em if you don't want to. That's why God invented channel-surfing, the DVD player and - when all else fails - the OFF button!
