Just listened to a radio interview with the girl and her "lovely???" mother.

To cut a long story short the following was of interest.....

In the UK the girl will recieve benefits of approx ?15,500 per year (not taxable income), plus rent free council house, no council tax, a carer for the new born to allow the young mum to attend some schooling. etc. etc.....

!shocked!

No other country in Europe comes close to providing this level of support !........so whos got it right.........?

and guess which country has the highest number of under age preggy girls ?????

If she gets full housing benefit I would reckon ?3000 a year, no Council tax as underage. Not eligible for child tax credits or income support as underage. However can't get a house so she will be costing the state next to fuck all.

I suspect that when this child gets to be 16, she'll want her own place.
The council will provide for her, then all the big time benefits will start to kick in. Allowances for this and that, social workers running about after her, then the child will be found to have ADHD and another ?80/ week will land through the letter box.
Mother will never work. Neither will child. Or any others she may have.

Sick that a child of this age is expecting.
Sick that her mother thinks it's sweet. How irresponsible can she be.
Disturbing to think of future health issues, and psychological implication on the girl.
A very worrying state of affairs.

They say that teen pregnancy is on the low here in the US among blacks and whites but the mexicans (not teens) are having them left and right. And a teen girl that young WOULD get some help especialy if it was publicizied. With the way sex is on the idiot box and on the radio all the time it's a wonder the teen pregancy rate ain't higher. One things for sure though, everytime I look up I hear about underage girls having sex with over 21 aged men (concentual or not).
