Any thoughts on how he'll go on against Collazo in Boston on Saturday? I don't think it'll be a problem though I can't see him staying at light-welterweight for too much longer.

Re: Ricky Hatton
I agree, he'll stay at welterweight, maybe even go up another division too
can't see him losing but expect a bit of a war again

we are Leeds.... , and we can still beat the mighty Chester
Re: Ricky Hatton
yeah, it should be a good 'un. i have no idea how he manages to make 10 stone. i see him out quite a lot when he hasn't got a fight coming up and he must weigh at least 12 stone! i think he'll be really strong at welterweight anyway and even at light-middle. he's the same height and build as boxers like duran, pazienza and camacho so i can definitely see him moving up through the weights.

I personally do not have anything against Hatton as he did have to wait a fair bit before he got the recocgnition he maybe deserved ... on the other hand you could say he was managed very well and his (slow) upward curve in the boxing world made him equipped for anything that has been thrown at him, ie he can take it as well as dish it out ... what I would say is his apparent wish to cash in his chips and base himself in America and his treatment of his former promoter (who made him a millionaire) Frank Warren does have me thinking a bid differently about him ... sometimes what goes around comes around perhaps??
PEOPLE think Stephen Hawking is so clever, but when you ask him a question and he is typing in the answer on his little screen, how do we know he isn't just looking up the answer on the Internet?

crofter, it's funny how most boxers seem to ditch frank warren in the end though eh? agreed hatton has done really well. would love to see him get the recognition he deserves over in the states. be great to see him move up to welterweight and earn his rightful place alongside honeyghan, curry, leonard, hearns, duran etc. etc.
