Liteon noooooo, exchanged my Liteon 5045 for a Sony as had soooo many problems with getting discs to either work in it or be usable on other machines.

Anyhow the red DVD you sent me works fine and identifies using this .-

Hi Ho, i have cracked it i have installed Pinnacle instant cd/dvd version 8 that i had on another old comp and when i burn to disk using this it plays back ok on my dvd player, only trouble is pinnacle dosnt reckonise a lot of my mpeg files it seems i just cant fucking win, anyway thanks for all your help and i will return to my old method of recording direct from my camcorder to dvd recorder it just means there will be no fancy titles and very poor editing!sad!
