Society in general is far too obsessed with chronological age, if you ask me. As far as I'm concerned, "getting old" is AT LEAST 50% a mental thing. Think that you're "old" and that you should (or shouldn't) be doing such-and-such "at my age" and it very quickly becomes a self-fulfilling prophecy.

Generally though, I think that every generation seems to get "younger" (if you know what I mean).

Anyway enough waffling from me - all the very best for a Happy Birthday!

Thanx Y'all! I've been told I look nothing near 40yrs old. I guess it's because I'm not into that hard living (drugs, smoking, drinking) though I may take a drink once or twice a year (New Year, Birthday). I won't be drinking today though. I'm taking the day off and taking care of some biz that I can't do on the weekend. Oh! And he says I'm still a boy? In my head! And a wise one at that! Thanx again y'all! !laugh! !drink!
