I may be wrong, but my understanding is that in the actual Eurovision finals, the acts all sing live. In the UK at least though, on the programmes held to find our finalist the acts may well mime. I seem to recall reading that somewhere, though I only ever bother watching the final itself and have never seen one of those "pick a Eurovision entry" shows.

Jemini certainly sang live in 2003 - it was that bad!!! And judging from one or two other iffy performances in recent years, I doubt very much that they were mimed either.

I'm getting bored with this thread. The thread is moment, not program or series. A specific moment that made you cringe or laugh or have a reaction. Fucks sake people, get it together.

Mine is a joint first for 2 moments, both from Question Time actually. David Dimbleby saying 'Robin Cock' and Harriet Harman startin a sentence 'When Gordon Brown became Prime Minister....'

Class.

Richard & Judy with Sex-In-The-City

Post by Boo2 »

When Richard and Judy interviewed some of the cast from Sex-In-The-City. Richard obviously has a hang-up about talking about anything relating to sex, so he just tried to joke his way nervously through the interview, but his jokes fell flat as a pancake. The Sex-In-The-City stars initially felt obliged to laugh along, but increasingly became stoney faced, thinking ?WTF is this jerk?!? You could hear the tumble-weed rolling past as he increasingly became more and more hyper trying to gloss over his embarrasment. Priceless cringe-worthy TV! !grin!
